East Coast Challenge..... and Craic!!
Itinerary..
Day 1 Arrive at Dublin International Airport (morning)Transfer to your hotel at Portmarnock Links. After a morning rest, it's Golf in the afternoon at the superb Bernhard Langer designed Links right on your doorstep. Tiger Woods played a warm up game here en route to the British open in 2000.
Wind down afterwards in the Jameson bar in what was the original home of the famous whiskey family. You may wish to dine tonight in the Links Restaurant which should complete a memorable day for you.
Day 2 Takes you on the short trip around the Malahide estuary to the Island Golf Club. This is one of the finest links courses you will find in a month of Sundays.A championship course and home of the Irish Professional Championship.
Dinner suggestion tonight in the historic fishing port of Howth (15mins) at the famous Abbey Tavern Restaurant followed by a rousing session of traditional music song and craic. Finish off the evening gently with an Irish Coffee, or are you ready for the dance floor at nearby Tamango nightclub?
Day 3 Today an even shorter trip (5mins) to the legendary Portmarnock Golf Club probably the most exclusive Club in Ireland. All the world's great golfers have played here. Nicklaus,Palmer, Snead,Player, Trevino,Mickleson, Duval. The latter two during the Walker Cup matches here in 1991.
Tonight why not go native and sample the Pub life of Malahide village which offers a range of traditional Irish Pubs and over 20 Restaurants catering for all tastes.
Day 4 After breakfast, time to leave the northside of Dublin and transfer to Co. Wicklow with its magic scenery.
Druids Glen Golf Club awaits, a magnificent parkland course set among the Wicklow hills. Home of three Irish Open Golf Championships
The new Marriott hotel on the course is you home for the next two nights. A chance to meet fellow golfers in the bar tonight and an opportunity to exchange Golf stories with the other golf guests in luxury surroundings.
Day 5 Leave the best wine till last ……someone once said and today we take that advice and finish our golf trip at the "K Club" in Straffan Co Kildare. If Druids Glen has hosted four Irish Opens ,the K Club has and continues to host the Smurfit European Open, a major event on the European PGA tour.
Day 6 All good things come to an end and today your transfer awaits to take you to Dublin Airport for your flight home. You will go back with wonderful memories of a unique golf trip and one that you will always remember with pleasure.

Day 1
Arrive at Shannon International airport( direct flights from Atlanta,New York, Boston ,Chicago, London, etc.) Your host/guide will meet you at the airport and take you to the ultimate luxury of Dromoland Castle. A chance to relax and wind down to a gentler pace of life before testing your skills this afternoon on Dromoland's very own 18 hole parkland course, a formidable challenge in itself.
Tonight you may be tempted to the nearby town of Ennis, regarded by many as the home of Irish traditional music.
Day 2
Today we travel up the Co Clare coast to Lahinch Golf Club, famous as the home of the South of Ireland amateur championship and a real gem . Originally laid out by Old Tom Morris of St Andrews fame, the links course bears a strong resemblance to the Old Course at St Andrews. Before you play check the position of the goats!!
Tonight, why not take the opportunity to visit Durty Nellies famous pub/restaurant in Bunratty. Afterwards join in the sing-song around the piano in the bar.
Day 3
Today we leave Dromoland and head for Killarney. "How can you buy Killarney" went the song, and while this might seem a little ambitious on a golf trip, you will, however, be tempted especially after around of golf on the magnificent Killeen course. A superb Championship course (parkland) and home of the Irish Open for two years,the course is set splendidly among the lakes of Killarney. So if you can, take time out from admiring the golf swings around you and take a look at the scenery.
For the next two nights your home is the Malton Hotel Killarney, with its great restaurant and it's wonderful atmosphere.
Day 4
To Dooks Golf course today and it is fair to say that you will be truly captivated by is simple charms.A links course set alongside the Dingle penninsula, Dooks is an experience that you will want to repeat,so savour the experience.
Tonight why not sample some of Killarney's great restaurants and singing pubs.
Day 5
We finish our golf trip today with a majestic flourish at Waterville Golf Links. Beloved by Raymond Floyd who listed it with Augusta National, Cypress Point, Pebble Beach and St. Andrews as his top five courses worldwide. Tiger Woods, Mark O'Meara, and the late and great Payne Stewart all played here in recent years en route to the British Open.

Day 6
We leave the Malton Hotel and Kerry and head for Shannon Airport and home.
